Eligibility: Saturn Devotion to Motion Giveaway (the "Promotion") is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (and the District of Columbia) who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Void where prohibited. Employees, officers and representatives of Saturn Corporation, General Motors Corporation, Carlson Marketing, GM R*Works, ePrize, LLC, and their respective related companies, affiliates and agents, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible to participate. The Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state, local laws and regulations. The Promotion consists of a Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) and an Instant Win Game (the "Instant Win Game").

Agreement to Official Rules: By participating in the Promotion, each entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion.
Timing: The Promotion begins on February 14, 2008 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on 11:59 p.m. ET, December 31, 2008 (the "Promotion Period"). For the purposes of this Promotion, a month is defined as a calendar month, except for the first month of the Promotion which begins on February 14, 2008. Administrator’s computer is the official time keeping device for this Promotion.
How to Enter the Promotion: During the Promotion Period, go to www.saturndevotiontomotion.com and fill out the online entry form. Complete and submit the online entry form including a valid home address. P.O. Boxes are not permitted. You automatically will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes, will advance to the Instant Win Game page and will receive one (1) Instant Win Game play for that day. Once on the Instant Win Game page, follow the instructions to play the Instant Win Game. The Instant Win Game results will be instantly displayed. Potential winners of the Instant Win Game will be provided directions for validation. All potential winners are subject to verification before any prize will be awarded. Administrator is responsible for the functionality of the Instant Win Game.

Saturn Event Entry (Sweepstakes Only): Entrants have the option to enter the Sweepstakes by visiting the Saturn consumer information kiosk at any of the Saturn events scheduled to be held nationwide (a list of event dates and locations can be found at http://www.saturn.com/aboutus2/events) and completing and submitting an entry form with a Saturn representative.

Limit: Each entrant may play the Instant Win Game one (1) time per day during the Promotion Period, however each entrant may enter the Sweepstakes only one (1) time during the Promotion Period, regardless of the method of entry. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of plays/entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant's plays/entries and that entrant may be disqualified. All entries must be received during the Promotion Period. Use of any automated system to submit entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to any online entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.
ALL POTENTIAL WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION BY SPONSOR OR ADMINISTRATOR, WHOSE DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE PROMOTION. AN ENTRANT IS NOT A WINNER OF ANY PRIZE, EVEN IF THE SWEEPSTAKES OR INSTANT WIN GAME SHOULD SO INDICATE, UNLESS AND UNTIL ENTRANT’S ELIGIBILITY AND THE POTENTIAL WINNING ENTRY/PLAY HAS BEEN VERIFIED AND ENTRANT HAS BEEN NOTIFIED THAT VERIFICATION IS COMPLETE. SPONSOR WILL NOT ACCEPT SCREEN SHOTS OR OTHER EVIDENCE OF WINNING IN LIEU OF ITS VALIDATION PROCESS. ANY PLAY THAT OCCURS AFTER THE SYSTEM HAS FAILED FOR ANY REASON IS DEEMED A DEFECTIVE PLAY AND IS VOID AND WILL NOT BE HONORED.
Sweepstakes/Instant Win Game: Administrator is an independent judging organization whose decisions as to the administration and operation of the Promotion and the selection of potential winners are final and binding. Sweepstakes: Administrator will randomly select the potential Sweepstakes winners from all eligible entries receive during the Promotion Period, on or about January 5, 2009. Instant Win Game: One thousand five hundred thirty six (1,536) random, computer-generated winning times, one (1) for each of the Instant Win Game Prizes listed below, will be created. One (1) winning time for the Second Prize will be generated each month of the Promotion Period except for July during which two (2) winning times will be generated. Two (2) winning times for the Third Prize will be generated each month of the Promotion Period except for July during which four (4) winning times will be generated. The Fourth and Fifth Prizes will be awarded at randomly generated times throughout the Promotion Period although the randomly generated winning times for fifty percent (50%) of these Fourth and Fifth Prizes will be generated between Monday and Thursday and fifty percent (50%) will be generated between Friday and Sunday. If you are the first player to play the Instant Win Game at or after any one (1) of the randomly generated times, you will be a potential instant winner of the prize indicated.
Verification of Winners: All selected winners must comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Except where prohibited, each potential Grand and First Prize winner (parent/legal guardian sign if winner is a minor in his/her state of residence) must sign and return to Administrator, within ten (10) days of the date of notification, an Affidavit of Eligibility Liability and Publicity Release ("Affidavit") in order to claim his/her prize. If any potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the Affidavit within the required time period (if applicable), or prize is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize. If a potential Grand, First, Second or Third Prize winner is disqualified for any reason, an alternate potential winner will be selected in his/her place in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Only three (3) alternate drawings will be held after which the applicable prize will remain un-awarded. Unclaimed Fourth and Fifth Prizes will not be awarded. Prizes will be fulfilled approximately eight (8) to ten (10) weeks after the conclusion of the Promotion.
Prizes:
1. Sweepstakes: ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: A $40,000 allowance toward the purchase of one (1) Saturn vehicle (subject to availability in terms of model, color and features at the time selection is made). Sponsor will not provide winner with the remaining allowance balance if winner should select a car worth less than $40,000. Winner must be a licensed driver and will be required to provide proof of insurance at time of delivery. Allowance outlined herein does not include, and winner is responsible for, title, license, registration, dealer preparation costs, auto insurance and other third party fees associated with acceptance and use of the prize. Winner must take delivery of prize from the automobile dealership designated by Sponsor. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $40,000. ONE (1) FIRST PRIZE: Winners choice of a (a) a technology package consisting of a 50 inch Phillips TV with Sling Box capabilities and a $500 Apple® gift card (b) a health and fitness package including a trip for two (2) to San Diego, CA for a weekend with an elite runner/personality (determined by sponsor), including roundtrip, coach-class air transportation for two (2) from a major airport near winner's home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to San Diego, CA, three (3) nights accommodations at a hotel of Sponsor's choice (single room, double occupancy), one (1) reserved spot in the 2009 San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon (the "Marathon"), coaching and running tips from an elite runner/personality, and a spa package in the form of a $200 gift card; or (c) a trip for two (2) for a Colorado River rafting package, consisting of roundtrip, coach-class air transportation for two (2) from a major airport near winner's home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to Denver or Colorado Springs, Colorado, based on national average airfare, five (5) nights accommodations to a hotel of Sponsor's choice (single room, double occupancy), access to river rafting, horseback riding and hiking, and a $100 R.E.I. gift card. ARV: $6,000. Odds of winning a Sweepstakes Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. Limit:: One (1) Sweepstakes Prize per person.
2. Instant Win Game Prizes: TWELVE (12) SECOND PRIZES: Winners choice of a Garmin StreetPilot C340 GPS Receiver (features and upgrades to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion), or $500 Apple gift card or $500 Amazon.com gift card that can be used toward the purchase of a 160GB Apple iPod. ARV: $500. TWENTY FOUR (24) THIRD PRIZES: A $50 American Express gift card. ARV: $50. FIVE HUNDRED (500) FOURTH PRIZES: A $10 iTunes® gift card. ARV: $10. ONE THOUSAND (1,000) FIFTH PRIZES: A $5 Amazon.com digital gift code. Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for complaints or issues regarding codes (claims that code is invalid, insufficient, etc.) and winner should address any such issues with the issuer of the code. ARV: $5. Odds of winning an Instant Win Game Prize depend on the number of Instant Win Game Prizes divided by the number of eligible Instant Win Game plays received during the Promotion Period. Limit:: One (1) Instant Win Game Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth prize per person.
For all travel: For the health and fitness trip package, winner must commence travel by arriving Friday before the Marathon and complete travel by Monday following the Marathon or prize will be forfeited. For the Colorado River rafting trip package, winner must complete travel within one (1) year from the drawing date or prize will be forfeited. Race dates have not been set for the Marathon. Either trip must be booked at least twenty-one (21) days prior to departure. For Colorado River rafting package, trip subject to availability and blackout dates. Travel must be roundtrip. Sponsor will determine airline and flight itinerary in its sole discretion. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. Travel and accommodations are subject to availability. Travel is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this Promotion, and those set forth by the Sponsor’s airline carrier of choice as detailed in the passenger ticket contract. All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the package description above, including but not limited to, ground transportation, meals, incidentals, passenger tariffs or duties, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes, including, but not limited to federal, state, local and income, or other expenses associated with the acceptance of prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner and the winner may be required to furnish appropriate tax documentation. Unless child of winner, travel companion must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of departure and must travel on same itinerary and at the same time as the winner. If winner is a minor in his/her state of residence, travel companion must be winner’s parent/legal guardian. Travel companion must execute liability/publicity releases prior to issuance of travel documents. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. If, in the judgment of Sponsor, air travel is not required due to winner’s proximity to prize location, then ground transportation will be substituted for roundtrip air travel at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. Sponsor is not responsible if San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason, in which event that portion of prize is forfeited in its entirety and no substitution will be provided except as in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Actual value may vary based on airfare fluctuations and distance between departure and destination. Winner will not receive difference between actual and approximate retail value.

For all gift cards: Terms and conditions of gift cards apply.

For all prizes: Winners are solely responsible for all taxes, including, but not limited to, federal, state, local and income taxes and other fees and expenses associated with acceptance of the prize. Winner may be required to furnish appropriate tax documentation. No other substitution, assignment or transfer of prizes permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of greater or equal value. Total ARV of all Prizes: $63,200.
Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Promotion constitutes winner's consent to Sponsor's use of winner's name, likeness, voice, opinions, biographical information, hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, without further payment or consideration.
General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes at random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion is a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and costs (including without limitation attorneys' fees) from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Release: By receipt of any prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless, Saturn Corporation, General Motors Corporation, Carlson Marketing, GM R*Works, ePrize, LLC, and each of their related companies, each of their respective officers, directors, members, employees, and agents, (“Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation or attempt to participate in the Promotion or receipt or use of any prize.
Limitations of Liability: Released Parties are not responsible for and entrants release and hold the Released Parties harmless for: (i) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (ii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iii) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (iv) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (v) any injury or damage to persons or property, including but not limited to entrant's computer, hardware or software, which injury or damage may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Promotion. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant’s sole remedy is another Sweepstakes entry or Instant Win Game play, provided that if it is not possible to award another entry/play due to discontinuance of the Promotion, or any part of it, for any reason, Sponsor, at its discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, unawarded, eligible prize claims.
Disputes: Entrant agrees that: (i) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan (Southern Division) or the appropriate Michigan State Court located in Oakland County, Michigan; (ii) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Promotion, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (iii) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Michigan, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Michigan or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Michigan.
